Qurum Beach

Shatti Al-Qurum’s neighborhood beach is Muscat’s best. The upscale residential and expat enclave converges here on its powdery, clean sand on weekends and evenings. Roughly spanning the Grand Hyatt and Intercontinental, the stretch is dotted with hotels and popular restaurants beachfront on the Gulf of Oman, adding their guests to the vibrant mix. The beach is long and narrow: the eastern end hosts sceney Al Shatti Street, flanked on both sides with water. For a quick city escape, head west for your own slice of solitude.
